A Great Resort in Bad Weather! (OR PERFECT WEATHER)

We celebrated our 25thwedding anniversary at one of our favorite all-inclusive resorts, (our fifth trip) at Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Riviera Maya, Mexico two weeks ago.  We knew it was hurricane season and although the weather was pretty bad, we still had a great trip.  In addition to a huge outdoor pool and quiet pool, there is a large indoor pool located at the spa which was absolutely wonderful on those days where the beach and outdoor pools were not an option.  Because we were return guests and it was our anniversary, we were treated like royalty!  Fresh flowers in the room, special turn down service, bubble baths and special anniversary wishes from everyone.  (I honestly believe ALL the guests were treated that way!)  Food, service, entertainment and the entire staff are wonderful, friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your wants and needs are exceeded as in the past.  This is another resort that we recommend staying in the beachfront buildings, 70 or 71.  These buildings are truly beachfront locations and have wonderful patios and balconies, complete with sofa, table and double swing. This resort is a winner in every way and we will definitely return in the future!
